It must be a shock for Beethoven to walk through Vienna today – especially completely deaf. 230 years ago, he lived with his patron Prince Karl Lichnowsky. The house was located at Alsergasse No. 45 (today Alser Straße 30). He certainly rediscovered the Pasqualatihaus at Mölker Bastei quite quickly, because the old cobblestones and the Baroque and Biedermeier houses have remained almost unchanged since Beethoven's time.
